Ormskirk Counsellor

Hello, my name is Lucy. I’m a counsellor who believes that feeling truly heard and understood can make a real difference. I offer a calm, supportive space where adults, children, and young people can talk openly about what’s been weighing on them, without fear of judgment. I have a particular focus on supporting people with anxiety and depression, and I’ve worked with a wide range of reasons these feelings can arise. My approach is gentle and practical, meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels right for you, as we work together to build clarity, confidence, and healthier ways to cope.

Thank you for letting me be vulnerable and being the person I could tell everything to and not cave after it. I will forever be grateful for all the things you have done for me. Thank you for all the laughs as well these will be missed.

My Story

I’m a counsellor who has always been drawn to listening to people’s stories and understanding what sits beneath the surface. Over the years, I’ve worked with adults, children, and young people facing anxiety and depression for many different reasons—life transitions, family pressures, school stress, bereavements, low confidence, and those moments when things just feel too much. What I’ve learned is that no two experiences are ever the same, even when the feelings sound similar. My work is grounded in creating a calm, genuine, and supportive space where people can be themselves without fear of judgment. This website is here to give you a sense of who I am, how I work, and what you can expect from counselling with me—whether you’re taking your very first step or returning to therapy after time away. If you’re here, you’re already doing something meaningful for yourself, and I’d be honoured to be part of that journey.
